The joys of editing

That title isn't sarcasm, I've actually come to enjoy the editing process for my novels. There is something to be said about reading a novel you wrote, at least for me anyway. I'm amazed at how often I get lost in the story, completely forgetting that I know what happens next. It's a funny feeling that I never get tired of. It makes me think about the future people reading my books who won’t actually know what's going to happen. That leaves me with a type of surreal feeling, something that's hard to explain. I love writing, and it only took spending years crafting my own stories for me to realize that.
