New Short Story: The Lure
A few weeks ago I entered into a writing prompt competition (Something that is quickly becoming a habit...) and the below story is the result. I didn't make it into the finals, but I've decided to share it with the world. The prompt was a picture, the image above, and we were restricted to 750 words. I'm happy with how it turned out, maybe one day I'll continue the story and create a novel from it.
